The 2011 Skoda Tour is almost done. Today the riders will have to do 152,1 kilometers in the 4th and final stage that runs from Mersch to Luxembourg-city. From the start in Mersch (which is north above Luxembourg-city) there will be a 30,5 kilometers circuit, first heading south to Steinsel including one rated climb: the steep Cote de Steinsel (1200m climb at 10,6%). Via Kopstal and Schoenfels it goes back to Mersch. Next the course heads to Rolllingen where the ascent to Lintgen awaits (3500m climb at 4,97%) followed by the climb at Fischbach (1570m climb at 4,9%) near the house of the former Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Jean. The route via Angelsberg and Larochette takes the riders east to the Müllerthal region, also known as Little Switzerland. Back to the center region, the course passes Graulinster, Biwer and Betzdorf, where Astra has its offices and satellites. After the final categorized climb of the day at Senningerberg (1280m climb at 7,66%), we ride past Findel airport heading to Clausen before arrival in the city. Finally, 5 laps in a local circuit need to be done including a cobbled climb from the Grund valley. Early attackers make a good chance to stay in front and win at the Place de la Constitution.
