After the intensive stages last few days, today’s stage is relatively straightforward. Although hilly again, it does not contain any major difficulties and it has no rated climbs. The start is in Guadix and the finish, 198,8 kilometres later, in Lorca. Both cities are stage town for the 3rd time. The highest point today is reached in María (1230 metres at km 123,5), from which it is gradually descending towards Lorca (350 metres). The last 2,5 kilometres go slightly up, but without a big impact to a possible sprint. So it is an ideal day for the sprinters, but it might be a breakaway can make it to the finish. Current GC: 1.
